Winter/Indoor Session 1 Registration Now Open

logoOur first session of indoor programming begins November 11 and registration for these programs will open on October 15.

There are many options for all players in grades PK thru 8 once again this November thru January, leading right up to the second session, January thru March. We will continue to offer Mini Kickers for the Pre-K age groups and Skill Development Centers for those in K thru 8th grade.

Futsal becomes an option for grade 3 thru 8 players! This indoor game played on the basketball courts with smaller nets allows players to enjoy the most technical version of the game. It is fun, exciting and engaging.  With the fast pace and creative freedom, it’s a great way to have fun with friends.

We also offer Sudbury Winter Games for grades 3 thru 8.  Many players find this to be the most exciting option. It does depend on the level of competition but it allows players to have a 30-minute pre game classroom session before playing a 50 minutes match indoors at ForeKicks.

Sudbury Academy Players on Grades 5-8 Squads have options as well! With Squad Training, Sports Performance Training, Goal Keeper Training, Futsal and Winter Games, there are many choices to keep your soccer game at the highest level this winter.

If you have any question, please reach out.  Make sure to register early as sessions fill up very quickly!

Fall Coaches Equipment Return

soccer

SYSA Coaches,

Thanks to all of you for coaching.  I hope you had a good season.

If you might be coaching in the spring, please keep your gear.  If someone else will be taking over as head coach, please give them your team’s bag.

Otherwise, remove ALL non-SYSA items from your bag and return it by leaving it against the garage doors at 26 Flintlock Lane or by placing it in the middle/back part of the equipment trailer at Haskell after your last game.

ALSO...

Sudbury Soccer needs someone to take over the position of Equipment Manager.  I would work with you through the fall and spring seasons.  Working as Equipment Manager is a great first-time position in SYSA.  You get to set your own schedule and most of the work is done before and after each season, so it does not interfere with coaching or driving your kids to games.

As with all positions in SYSA, you can attend board meetings where you'll get to know other dedicated volunteers, get insight into SYSA, and be able to share your ideas. If you'd like to learn more about the position, please contact me ([email protected]).or Steve O'Keefe ([email protected])

Thank you,

Andy
