Winter/Indoor Session 1 Registration Opens October 15

logoOur first session of indoor programming begins November 11 and registration for these programs will open on October 15.

There are many options for all players in grades PK thru 8 once again this November thru January, leading right up to the second session, January thru March. We will continue to offer Mini Kickers for the Pre-K age groups and Skill Development Centers for those in K thru 8th grade.

Futsal becomes an option for grade 3 thru 8 players! This indoor game played on the basketball courts with smaller nets allows players to enjoy the most technical version of the game. It is fun, exciting and engaging.  With the fast pace and creative freedom, it’s a great way to have fun with friends.

We also offer Sudbury Winter Games for grades 3 thru 8.  Many players find this to be the most exciting option. It does depend on the level of competition but it allows players to have a 30-minute pre game classroom session before playing a 50 minutes match indoors at ForeKicks.

Sudbury Academy Players on Grades 5-8 Squads have options as well! With Squad Training, Sports Performance Training, Goal Keeper Training, Futsal and Winter Games, there are many choices to keep your soccer game at the highest level this winter.

If you have any question, please reach out.  Make sure to register early as sessions fill up very quickly!

Cheers,

October 29-SYSA and LS Varsity Boys Soccer Senior Night

LS

Our youth programs (Grades K - 8) have the opportunity to play a part in the Lincoln-Sudbury Boys Soccer Senior Night on Tuesday, October 29th starting at 5:15pm at the high school. The match starts at 6:00pm vs. Needham and will be played under the lights on the LS Stadium Field.

Almost all of the 18 seniors on the LS roster came up through the town programs over the years, so this is very exciting for youth players to see where they end up in high school and for the varsity players to remember where they came from!

This event is open to all Grade K-8 Lincoln and Sudbury youth soccer players and the activities will include:

  • 5:15:   Players arrive and meet outside the field entrance-wear your youth soccer jersey!
  • 5:30:   Take a group photo with the team
  • 5:50:   Build a "tunnel" for each senior to walk through as they’re announced. We are hoping to get 50 players but can accommodate more. This is an easy one - cheer them on and celebrate their soccer careers!
  • 6:00:   We will have a special spot in the bleachers for our youth players and their families to watch the game and cheer.
  • 6:40 - 6:50:  Half-time should be around 6:40 PM and done by 6:50 PM. During this time, we will set up some opportunities for players to shoot and score on the Varsity goals!
