The Sudbury Soccer Mini-Kickers program for Pre-K players is a grass-roots introductory training program that is packed with fun games and skills that will serve as your child's first soccer building block. Players must turn 3 prior to the start of the season.
This program will be offered with both boys only and girls only clinics and will be delivered by our local professional soccer coaches from the New England Revolution Academy. Players will participate in a 7-week season and receive a SYSA Mini Kickers T-Shirt.
What Do We Need?:
All players should wear soccer cleats, shin guards, a comfortable face mask and bring a water bottle and a size 3 soccer ball.
When Do We Play?:
The Mini Kickers program will take place at Haskell Field on Sundays with Boys sessions running from 11:00 to 11:45 OR 12:00 to 12:45 and Girls sessions running from 1:00 to 1:45 OR 2:00 to 2:45. A parent must be in attendance during the 45-minute session.
This program will begin on 4/11 and will run for seven weeks during the spring season and costs $130 per player. There will be no sessions on April 18 or May 30.
What About Player Safety?:
Massachusetts Youth Soccer is requiring all players to wear a face covering in accordance with the EEA Safety standards for Youth and Adult Amateur Sports activities, Phase III Step 2 effective March 2, 2021. We will also be following all current Massachusetts Youth Soccer COVID safety protocols put forth by the Commonwealth.
How Do We Learn More?:
As the season approaches, your player will be placed in a small group for the sessions with details being sent form the coaches to you via the SYSA Team Snap App. Once assigned to a team, you will receive an email invitation to link up to the app where you can list availability, see the schedule, etc.
