Summer Soccer Programs


For Summer 2022, we are delighted to announce a range of summer soccer opportunities right here in town with our New England Revolution Academy partners. We will host two different programs, Summer Development Center & The Summer Skills Festival

Summer Development Center

This program is designed to improve skill and to build passion for the game.  Players Pre-K (3 years old by June 15) to 8th grade will be divided into age/skill appropriate and gender specific groups where they will work through the building blocks of soccer development.

This program will give players the opportunity to enhance their skills in the off season. Fun small sided games, competitions and larger matches will build the passion and excitement over the summer period for your child. Players can attend when they are able to and it is ok for participants to miss sessions due to summer vacations. All sessions will be held outside in Sudbury.

Session # 1: Week of June 27th, July 4th, July 11th and July 18th - $70 per player

Tuesday or Thursday sessions based on grade (schedule below)

Session # 2: Week of Aug. 1st, Aug. 8th, Aug. 15th and Aug. 22nd - $70 per player

Tuesdays: 3:00 to 4:00: Pre-K Boys and Girls (COED) and Kindergarten Boys and Girls (COED)

Tuesdays: 4:00 to 5:00: 1st Grade Boys and Girls (COED) and 2nd Grade Boys and Girls (COED)

Tuesdays: 5:00 to 6:00: 3rd and 4th Grade Boys and Girls (COED)

Thursdays: 3:00 to 4:30: 5th and 6th Grade Boys and Girls (COED)

Thursdays: 3:00 to 4:30: 7th and 8th Grade Boys and Girls (COED)

Summer Skills Festival

The Summer Skills Festival is a unique program comprised of three morning (9 am to Noon) sessions. It is an opportunity for all ages K to 8th grade to learn exciting soccer skill moves, in a fun and competitive environment. Daily challenges, daily moves and tournament games will enhance the excitement and build a connection with the professional staff. Groups will be broken down by age/skill and will be co-ed. Registrants must attend each day and all sessions will be held outside in Sudbury.

Spring 2022 Registration is Now Open

Sudbury Soccer will begin accepting registrations for the Spring 2022 season on Tuesday, January 4th. Please click the link below for the registration page.

The registration fee for Pre-K Mini Kickers, kindergarten and first grade players is $145; for second grade players is $185; for third to eighth grade BAYS (Travel) players is $210; and for high school age players $325. New England Revolution Academy coaches will coach high School aged teams. 

The registration deadline for Mini Kickers to second grade players is March 15, 2022; for third to eighth grade players, January 21, 2022; and for high school players, April 1, 2022.

Academy Squad players already registered DO NOT need to re-register for the spring.

The Spring season begins the weekend of April 9th and 10th for Mini Kickers to eighth grade players; and April 23rd for high school players.

Winter/Indoor Session #2 Registration is Now Open


We are pleased to once again offer several unique soccer skills programs to grade K-8 players during the indoor period from November to March. All of these programs will take place right here in Sudbury at The Field House or at Forekicks in Marlborough.

These programs are a great way for your soccer player to keep playing the sports they love when it it cold and snowy outside! Please visit the Indoor Programs page to learn more about the grade level specific offerings ranging from Soccer FUNdamentals ($170 per player) for the younger (K-1) players to Winter Development School ($130 per player), Futsal ($120 per player) and Academy Squad Training ($130 per player) for Academy Squad players. 

Kindergarten and 1st Grade: Soccer FUNdamentals: One-8 Week Session-1/9/22 to 3/6/22 

Played indoors at the Field House, the Soccer FUNdamentals program offers players in Kindergarten and 1st grade the opportunity to play soccer and develop core motor skills while learning ball mastery, receiving, ball striking and exciting skill moves during the offseason. There will be separate boys and girls sessions, further broken out by grade level. The New England Revolution Academy coaches will lead these sessions. This session costs $170 per player.

Grades 2-8: Winter Development Schools:Two-6 Week Sessions-11/16/21 to 1/13/22 and 1/18/22 to 3/3/22

**Grade 5-8 Academy Squads will be grouped together in Academy specific sessions**

The Winter Development School is a performance based technical training environment for all players from 2nd grade to 8th Grade. The sessions will cover the technical breakdown of ball mastery, skill moves, receiving, passing, defending and finishing. These sessions are for players that are looking to be challenged in a positive, player-centric environment. If numbers permit, the sessions will be co-ed. We strive to balance the rosters 50/50 between boys and girls if possible. The New England Revolution Academy coaches will lead these sessions. This session costs $130 per player.

Grades 3-8: FutsalTwo-8 Week Sessions-11/15/21 to 1/24/22 and 1/31/22 to 3/28/22

A hard court game played with a special ball that allows players to improve their ball control, agility and touches. This session costs $120 per player.

Grades 3-8: Winter Academy Games:Two-8 Week Sessions-11/9/21 to 1/24/22 and 1/25/22 to 4/11/22

An opportunity to play indoor soccer (Forekicks-Marlboro) and be led by a professional coach from the NE Revolution Academy. The program will focus on creating the development of technical and intuitive players who can perform under pressure. This session costs $265 per player.

Safety continues to be our top priority as we transition into the winter season. While the Field House performs state level guidelines, SYSA is requiring additional steps to help ensure the safety of our players and staff which are described below. 

  • All players must wear masks and have an extra mask on hand
  • All players bring their own ball and hand sanitizer
  • By sending your child, you are self certifying that your child is healthy
  • Coaches will sanitize equipment between sessions
  • Physical distancing when possible
