On Wednesday, September 18th, New England Revolution Midfielder Diego Fagundez visited Sudbury! He spent a few hours signing autographs, taking pictures and meeting all those who visited.
Diego became the first Homegrown Player signing in New England Revolution history on Nov. 15, 2010 and is the first Homegrown field player to log 10,000 minutes in MLS and youngest player to record 100 appearances and 25 goals in league history.
Only 24 years old, he is a nine-year MLS veteran ranks inside the top five in club history in games played, goals, assists, shots, and shots on target. Diego is the youngest player in MLS history to reach 50 career regular season goals scored at 23 years, 254 days old and youngest player in MLS history to make 200 career appearances.
